Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Polls will be open from 6 AM to 9 PM.

There are several ways you can cast your ballot:

  • Vote in-person at your polling place on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
  • Vote during the nine-day Early Voting Period which starts on October 24, 2020, and ends November 1, 2020.
  • Vote by absentee ballot for the November 3, 2020 General Election. Find out more information at the Tompkins County Board of Elections website.

The United States Postal Service recommends that if you plan to vote by mail you request your mail-in ballot (absentee ballot) at least 15 days before Election Day. The United States Postal Service also recommends mailing your ballot at least 7 days before Election Day. For more information about election mail visit the United States Postal Service website.
