Online Census Presentation

April 1, 2020 @ 6:30 am - 7:30 am

The 2020 Census will determine equitable political representation and the distribution of billions of dollars in federal funding for the next 10 years for things like schools, hospitals and infrastructure.

This Census presentation will give you a well-rounded background about the 2020 Census, or the-every-10-year Census, and its process for counting every person in the United States. It will explain what it is, what’s new in how it will work this year, and why it is important that you and others participate in it.

You’ll get a chance to ask questions about responding to the Census, and be introduced to information tools that the Census offers.

*You have probably already received a letter inviting you to take the Census online. If you have not received the letter, you can fill it out by using your residential address: https://2020census.gov. It takes about 10 minutes, and is required by law.

Make sure one person fills it in for everyone living in your house most of the time, including small children, students, and foreign-born residents! More here on who and how to respond: https://2020census.gov/en/ways-to-respond.html
