Poetry Night October 1

Join us for a special evening of poetry with Janie E. Bibbie, Tompkins County Poet Laureate and Carolyn Clark, PhD.

Janie E. Bibbie is the Tompkins County Poet Laureate for 2023-2024.  She is author of Alzheimer’s: Up Close and Personal and several books of poetry. In her role as Poet Laureate, she hopes to encourage members of the Tompkins County community to join her in reading, writing, and sharing poetry. 

Carolyn Clark, PhD Classics, Pushcart Nominee 2020, writes poetry: Watershed —new Finger Lakes poems (2023) Poet Duet: A Mother and Daughter (2019); Choosing Lethe (2017); New Found Land (2017); Mnemosyne: the Long Traverse (2013);  typewriter poems composed at Ithaca Farmers Market (antique QWERTY).
