Join us every Saturday at 10:00 am on the 2nd floor of the Library as Phyllis leads us in a gentle class suitable for those who are new to yoga or have some mobility issues, with optional opportunities to deepen into the poses for those with more experience.
Vinyasa Yoga is a style where the poses are linked together so that there is constant movement. Along with the well known benefits such as flexibility, balance, and strength, yoga can also help manage stress, improve metabolism, circulation and breathing, promote healthy eating, and much more.
This class is for ages 18+. Please bring your own yoga mat (or blanket). Suggested donation $10 per class.
Phyllis KuanYin Chi is a 200-hour yoga teacher certified through Yoga Farm in Lansing, New York, with additional training in trauma-informed yoga.
