Johnson Museum of Art Field Trip October 18

Saturday, October 18th 1-3 PM

Join educators at the Johnson Museum of Art for an inspiring tour of their current exhibitions. Tour highlights from “Free as they want to be: Artists Committed to Memory”, photograms from “Kunié Sugiura: Discoveries”, large-scale collages that express both memory and forgetting in “Cold War: The Mysterious” by Thai artist Thasnai Sethaseree, and woodblock prints from “Margarethe Geibel: The Goethe House Series”. We’ll share many new ideas, then make our way to the studio to create our own altered portrait collages. (*Bring a photo portrait of someone you would like to use in your collage.)
